About Me
Professional Consulting
A professional Risk, Engineering and Management Consultant with broad experience in Projects and Operations both in Australia and overseas. An engineer with an MBA - its a useful combination!
I started out as a research scientist in paints and plastics and then technical sales and assurance roles with global leaders like Rio Tinto and Hitachi. In 2010, transport operations with Sydney Trains developing robust safety systems.
In 2014, as Senior Risk Manager for London Underground Finance team, I worked to have “the Tube” accredited to ISO55001 Asset Management standard. With Arup, I led commercial risk and assurance for HS2 the £100bn high-speed railway linking London with northern England. Most recently with Turner & Townsend on Sydney Metro rail.
I back up this experience with workplace training and development skills. I really enjoy helping others succeed, supporting my clients' teams to learn and develop new skills and meet the complex challenges we face today.

Nick is a capable project risk manager with skills in both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment for cost and schedule.
We worked together as part of the PMO on Sydney Metro West (SMW) rail infrastructure project and I found his collaboration skills and experience from other major rail projects to be very useful when working with cost estimators (like me), project directors, commercial, technical leads and also mentoring junior staff.
He also has a good understanding of government policy and standards. Overall I would recommend his services for any major construction projects or change programs.
